If you want to sync and share your favorite content across multiple devices, besides "using cloud sync services," you can also use an external hard drive to achieve this purpose. The operation is very simple - you just need to move the Library.library file from the original computer to the external hard drive. Below, we'll break down this operation into several steps:

Note: You don't need to install the Eagle software on the external hard drive, you just need to place the library on the external hard drive.

Step 1: Connect the External Hard Drive

Plug the external hard drive you want to use for storing the Eagle library into your computer and open the corresponding drive path.

Please make sure the external hard drive you're using has "write" capability on the computer you're using.

Step 2: Find the Current Library Path

Open Eagle's current library path, which usually ends with ".library". If you can't find this path, you can view it in the software menu > "Library".

Step 3: Move the Library to the External Hard Drive

Move the Eagle library to the external hard drive. You can drag and drop or cut/paste. If you want to keep the original library, you can use copy/paste instead.

Step 4: Reload the Library (This is also the step for loading on other devices in the future)

Return to the Eagle software, click on the software menu "Library" > "Load Other Library", select the library path on the external hard drive > Open, and you're done!
